Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving industrial equipment and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production operations. This role includes troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. The technician also adheres to safety standards, participates in ongoing training, and supports overall equipment reliability and team performance.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Shift:
First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, overtime when needed
Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, overtime when needed
Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, overtime when needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Repair, maintain, and improve industrial machinery and special assembly equipment, including brazing, TIG, and spot welding tasks.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
-Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance and minimize downtime.
-Document all maintenance activities, including parts used, repairs completed, and equipment downtime.
-Operate all production and support equipment, including cranes and forklifts, as needed.
-Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and the removal of outdated equipment.
-Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to address technical issues and improve reliability.
-Follow all company safety standards and participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement programs.

Job Requirements:
-Associate’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred; ETA, NCCER Certification, or Electro-Mechanical PLC Technician Certification required, or equivalent experience at Usui International Corporation.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting at the component level.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial assembly machines.
-Proficiency with Volt-Ohm Meters (VOM) and the ability to troubleshoot components such as proximity switches, limit switches, and PLC input/output systems.
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
-Strong mechanical skills, including hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
-Familiarity with basic machine shop practices such as using a drill press, tapping holes, threading pipe, and identifying pipe fittings (e.g., water and air lines).
-Ability to take precise measurements using tape measures, scales, micrometers, and calipers.
-Basic knowledge of milling machines and lathe operations is desirable.
-Must read, write, and speak English.
