Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all Inbound Documents and Reports are prepared, accurate and distributed to the customer and operations team. Reports to the Office Manager.

Pay Range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)

Shift:
First Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Communicates via email and phone with Inbound Carriers, Brokers, and customer daily, coordinating data for inbound shipments and data needs.
-Communicates through various media with site personnel, essential information to ensure operations are meeting requirements
-Reviews and consolidates all data points from multiple sources for Inbound/Import freight. Confirms they are accurate and complete.
-Using a warehouse management system, confirm inbound shipments for accuracy and prepare paperwork for the operation. Make adjustments and corrections in the WMS as needed.
-Ensure that all inbound equipment is able to be processed by the operations in a timely manner and communicate any issues to the appropriate party for resolution.
-Consistent follow up with customer for resolution to any discrepant data.
-Gather data and enter into the warehouse management system and maintain all data and records related to receiving activities.
-Assist in resolving any discrepancies.
-Maintain Inbound Claims process
-Actively monitors yard capacity and communicates inbound volumes with the Yard Management Supervisor.
-Communicates and directs inbound carriers to meet goals set by Yard Management Team.
-Assists with other administrative duties as needed by the leadership team.
-Files all receiving paperwork so that it is easily accessible when needed.
-Maintains Import log accurately with necessary information.
-May require they communicate assignments such as appointments to receive, doors to load, items to pick, etc.
-Communicates special requests and projects to the Operations Team. Keeps record and reports status of special projects and requests.
-Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED required
-Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
-Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).
-Excel skills are a daily requirement
-Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
-Good finger dexterity to input data into inventory records.
-Ability to input data on the computer to create a daily reporting.
-Accuracy in recordkeeping and in data entry.
-Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
-Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.
-Must be proficient in spoken and written English language
-Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
-Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer.
