Job Description:
The Warehouse Operations Lead has general responsibility to assist in coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.00 per hour
Shift:
Second Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals
-Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
-Directs work assignments to employees
-Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
-Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
-Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
-Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners
-Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
-Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
-Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and Wis
-Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery
-Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
-Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
-Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
Job Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
-Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
-Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Ability to input data accurately to create daily inventory reports
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping, sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items
-Good visual acuity to inspect shipments
-Strong time management, organizational, planning, and self-motivation skills
-Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
-Excellent customer service skills
-Material Handling Equipment experience or willingness to learn
-Ability to stand and/or walk for 10–12 hours per shift
-Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds without restriction
-Ability to frequently bend, lift, stretch, and reach below the waist and above the head
-Ability to walk extensively throughout a large distribution center (facilities exceed ¼ mile in length)
-Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations
-Ability to access all areas of the building without limitations
-Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
