Job Description:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with a strong focus on supervising warehouse personnel and achieving daily production goals. This role oversees inbound and outbound shipping operations, develops work schedules, monitors productivity, and ensures equipment and labor resources are utilized efficiently to meet operational objectives. The supervisor also supports employee development, maintains compliance with company policies and safety standards, and collaborates with leadership and human resources to maintain a productive, safe, and well-organized work environment.

Pay Range: $30.00-$30.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
-Supervise warehouse personnel and assign tasks based on employee skills, experience, and operational requirements.
-Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
-Review daily operational objectives and determine productivity requirements to meet overall facility goals.
-Ensure warehouse equipment is utilized efficiently and coordinate equipment maintenance with management.
-Partner with leadership to balance labor and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
-Prepare and submit daily end-of-shift reports summarizing operational performance and productivity.
-Recommend and support operational initiatives and programs that improve efficiency and workflow.
-Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review productivity, operational updates, safety reminders, and workload forecasts.
-Assist in developing and implementing training programs to improve employee performance and operational effectiveness.
-Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure company procedures and standards are followed.
-Maintain positive employee relations and ensure adherence to company policies and departmental procedures.
-Work with management and Human Resources to address employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and performance concerns.
-Provide regular coaching, feedback, and recognition to support employee skill development and performance improvement.
-Participate in employee development, talent selection, and performance evaluations.
-Maintain accurate employee timekeeping records.
-Stay current on operational processes, systems, and tools to support continuous self-development.
-Travel to other warehouse locations and attend department or company meetings as needed.
-Ensure the warehouse operates in a safe, clean, and organized manner to meet operational and service standards.
-Support safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
-Follow established procedures for reporting, analyzing, and responding to employee injuries or workplace incidents.
-Ensure employees complete required daily equipment safety inspections and review inspection reports.

Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or operations education preferred.
-Previous experience in warehouse operations with supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred.
-Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage teams, coordinate labor resources, and meet productivity targets.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to analyze operational data and prepare reports.
-Experience using warehouse systems such as Warehouse Management System preferred.
-Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance standards including Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
-Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing operational demands.
-Willingness to travel occasionally to other warehouse locations and attend company meetings.
