Job Description:
The Inventory Cycle Counter responsibilities include performing daily cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy. This role involves operating forklifts or pallet jacks to move and scan products, updating records in warehouse systems, and using handheld devices to process discrepancies and scrap tickets. The position also requires investigating inventory variances and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse with properly labeled products.
-Cold environment experience required
-Food processing experience preferred
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Shift:
First Shift: Monday to Saturday, start between 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy
-Safely operate rider-type forklifts or pallet jacks to move, scan, and position pallets
-Enter and update data in warehouse management systems and handheld scanners, including NCDRs and scrap tickets
-Investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records to determine root causes
-Maintain warehouse organization by ensuring products are properly labeled and the workspace is clean and orderly
Job Requirements:
-Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or forklift operation in a warehouse environment
-Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding setting
-Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
-Proficiency in, or ability to learn, warehouse and inventory management systems
