Job Description:
The Maintenance Electrician Technician responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems, process equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role is responsible for designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems while supporting food safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong team-oriented mindset, follow all safety, GMP, PPE, and SQF procedures, and provide dependable support to plant operations and maintenance activities.

Pay Range: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Shift: 
First Shift: 4:30 AM start time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, utility systems, and electrical systems
-Design, layout, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
-Utilize preventative maintenance software programs to document and track maintenance activities
-Maintain plant facilities through effective housekeeping and maintenance practices
-Support food safety, quality assurance, SQF systems, GMP compliance, and PPE requirements
-Follow all company safety rules, policies, procedures, and government regulations
-Collaborate with employees and departments to maintain a positive team environment and high level of customer service
-Complete additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and provide coverage for fellow Maintenance Electricians as needed

Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED certificate with a minimum of four years of skilled trades experience
-Formal training in commercial or industrial electrical systems preferred
-Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions effectively
-Basic mathematical skills and understanding of units of measure required for business calculations
-Self-motivated with the ability to complete daily assignments independently
-Ability to enter, record, maintain, and store written or electronic information accurately
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand and/or walk for periods exceeding 8 hours
-Ability to work in refrigerated environments for extended periods exceeding 8 hours
